The Village Voice's third annual
Best of NYC issue was intended to
be published online on September 18. Seven
days prior, our beloved city was
altered in an attack unprecedented
in horror and viciousness. While
our shock and sadness remain, we
feel an even greater need to
celebrate New York—always tough,
ever the best. Here, then, are
hundreds of ways to toast our
town. We wouldn't want to be
anywhere else.
